1st Anniversary of Kiswahili Language Day

On the Occasion of the 1st Anniversary of Kiswahili Language Day declared by UNESCO, celebrations were held at the Ambassador’s Residence on 07.07.2022 in presence of Tanzanian and friends of Tanzania.
During the reception, speeches were pronounced highlighting the importance of Swahili as the Tanzania national language and the connections existing between both Hebrew and Swahili, books to learn Swahili were shared among the guests and everyone was invited to enjoy Tanzanian cuisine.
